On October 2, Chairman Wang Yuetao met with TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanné during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). The two parties had in-depth discussions on upstream oil and gas projects, international crude oil and natural gas trade, and cooperation in Abu Dhabi's onshore oil fields.

Wang Yuetao introduced the company's business development. He pointed out that ZhenHua Oil and TotalEnergies have maintained excellent cooperation in the crude oil trade field for many years. The cooperation in Abu Dhabi's onshore oil field projects has deepened mutual understanding and trust, achieving a series of gratifying results. With the continuous improvement of ZhenHua Oil's natural gas industry chain, the two parties are closely communicating to expand their cooperation in LNG business. He expressed hope to further consolidate the foundation of cooperation and have more in-depth opportunities in related fields.

Patrick Pouyanné shared TotalEnergies' strategic adjustments in response to energy transition and congratulated ZhenHua Oil on its rapid development over the past 20 years. He shared his understanding of oil and gas cooperation in Iraq and the UAE, emphasizing the importance of close cooperation among shareholders in Abu Dhabi's onshore oil field projects. He highly praised ZhenHua Oil's proactive role as a project shareholder. He also expressed hope that the two parties can expand cooperation in more areas, countries, and regions.
