On July 12, Chairman Wang Yuetao visited Egypt for research purposes and met with Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources of Egypt. The two sides had in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation across the entire oil and gas industry chain in the future.

Chairman Wang Yuetao first expressed his gratitude to Minister Tarek El Molla for the thoughtful arrangement of the meeting and congratulated Egypt on its new achievements in economic and social development. He introduced the high-quality development achievements of ZhenHua Oil over the past 20 years and the coordinated development of the entire oil and gas industry chain, meanwhile expressed the determination to continuously strengthen efforts in increasing reserves and production of existing oilfield blocks. He also discussed topics such as deepening oil production cooperation, enhancing natural gas trade, and deepening exploration of new projects.

Minister Tarek El Molla highly appreciated the significant contributions that ZhenHua Oil has made to the development of Egypt's oil and gas industry. He assured that the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources will continue to support ZhenHua Oil's market development and production operations in Egypt, and expressed hope that both sides can further deepen cooperation in the oil and gas sector to achieve mutual development and growth.
